Fashion Labs
Experiential Learning in Visual Arts, Fashion, Business, Sustainability and Social Impact
What Are Fashion Labs?
Fashion Labs are short, curriculum-aligned immersion programs delivered in collaboration with international high schools and universities. Built around our flagship 3-night, 4-day residency, each Lab combines hands-on learning, real industry access, and academic reflection across Europe’s creative capitals.
Designed and led by Fashion for Futures, these small-group residencies connect both high school (ages 15–18) and university students directly with active industry professionals through four core pillars:
For high school groups, programs are directly aligned with IB, IGCSE, A-Level, and CAS frameworks. For university cohorts, modules are tailored for credit-bearing study trips, advanced industry immersion, and portfolio development.
Core Academic Structure
Every European Fashion Lab follows the same four-pillar academic framework,
ensuring consistency across cities while allowing for local specialization.
-

Creative Direction and Design Thinking
Visual research, sketching, concept development, and storytelling as foundations of creative practice.
-

Business, Finance and Brand Strategy
Understanding how creative ideas translate into value through pricing, positioning, sustainability, and ethical decision-making.
-

Industry Exposure and Real-World Practice
Studio visits, backstage access (when applicable), and direct conversations with designers, creatives, and entrepreneurs.
-
